May 17th Reopening

As previously communicated, we are looking to reopen on Monday 17th May 2021 at 2pm.

In order to open, the following changes have been implemented until further notice:

  • The club will be Members only
  • Track & Trace is mandatory for all users of the club.
  • The ‘rule of 6’ applies throughout the club. It will be a maximum of 6 people per table. However, NO furniture can be moved to make smaller tables into a table of 6. Anyone found to be doing this will be asked to leave.
  • You must remain seated whilst at the table. No standing whilst drinking is allowed.
  • Face coverings must be worn when moving around the club.
  • We will be operating with Table service only initially.
  • Snooker will be allowed to resume on both tables but a deposit will be payable for the Snooker balls as per the previous procedure.
  • The pool table and darts boards will be able to be used.
  • Capacity of the club will be closely monitored to allow Social distancing. It may be necessary to stop entry if we feel that the club has reached its capacity.

We will continue to operate a one-way system throughout the club.

It’s important that all the above points are followed. These are necessary to allow us to re-open in a COVID Secure way.

Although some members may not agree with these rules – they are necessary for us to open safely.

Membership Renewal

Membership renewals will resume from Wednesday 19th May 2021 and will be taken every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening, 8-9pm through the whole of May and June. We can only accept cash for Membership fees.

Membership will remain at £10 for 2021.

AGM

We plan to hold the AGM on Sunday 27th June at 11am. This will hopefully allow us to hold it with restrictions lifted.

New Members Intake

There will be one intake of New Members in 2021 for all those people who applied to join the club in 2020 and this year.

The date is still to be confirmed, but we anticipate that it’ll be towards the end of July.
